Swartz Creek Community Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Swartz Creek Community Schools follows a simple local progression: five elementary schools feed Swartz Creek Middle School and then Swartz Creek High School. Because the district has one shared secondary route, students from different elementary communities come together before the broadest academic, arts, athletic, and career opportunities appear at the high school.

Swartz Creek Virtual Learning Center gives school-age learners a separate online and flexible environment while keeping them connected to district staff and services. It is not another neighborhood feeder; it changes how coursework is delivered and how the day is organized.

The same center also houses Adult Education for learners age 18 and older seeking a diploma or GED, with face-to-face evening support. The building therefore serves two different re-entry points: one for school-age students needing flexible delivery and another for adults returning to completion work.

Most families experience a straightforward elementary–middle–high route. The Virtual Learning Center becomes relevant when the conventional timetable no longer fits, but its school-age and adult programs remain distinct.
