About Port Huron Area School District
Port Huron Area School District serves a large community through neighborhood schools, themed academies, and two comprehensive high schools. Port Huron High School and Port Huron Northern High School anchor the main secondary routes, while elementary choices such as the STEAM Academy at Woodrow Wilson and the Literacy Academy at Cleveland add different instructional models earlier in the grade span.
Several settings operate outside the two ordinary high-school communities. PHS Virtual School provides an online route. Phoenix Academy is a separate specialized district setting whose placement is handled apart from ordinary attendance assignment, so families should use district guidance to understand how it fits an individual student's plan.
Harrison Adult Learning Center supports adults and returning learners working toward diplomas, equivalency, language growth, or other educational goals. Blue Water Middle College provides a regional college-linked option for eligible high-school students through county partnerships.
The district's structure is broader than two high schools, but its branches use different enrollment relationships. Neighborhood assignment, academy application, online enrollment, specialized placement, adult education, and middle college should be planned separately.
