About Lapeer Community Schools

Lapeer Community Schools brings four elementary communities into two successive middle-grade campuses and then one comprehensive high school. Rolland-Warner and Zemmer divide the transition out of elementary school into earlier and later stages before students enter Lapeer High.

Some elementary families can choose a balanced-calendar schedule, which shortens the long summer break and distributes more breaks across the year. The option changes the rhythm of schooling without creating a separate secondary system.

The Center for Innovation widens career, technical, and nontraditional learning. Lapeer Virtual Partnership supports online or blended study, and Kids & Company extends the district into preschool and childcare.

The main campus sequence remains straightforward, while families can vary calendar, delivery, or specialized learning at selected points. Those decisions affect the shape of a school day or year more than the destination of the common high-school route.
