Owosso Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Owosso Public Schools brings its elementary communities into Owosso Middle School and Owosso High School, creating one shared secondary route. The district's middle and high schools are both International Baccalaureate World Schools offering the Middle Years Programme, so a common academic framework crosses the transition between the two campuses.

The MYP emphasizes connections among subjects, inquiry, reflection, and broader applications rather than operating as a single advanced class. Students encounter the framework across the middle grades and early high-school years before choosing later advanced, career, or college-linked options.

Lincoln Alternative High School provides a smaller environment with traditional, online, and dual-enrollment possibilities for students who need a different route toward graduation. Owosso High also operates a substantial career and technical program, including work-based and credential-connected opportunities within the comprehensive setting. Owosso's secondary identity has two strong parts: an IB framework shared by the main middle and high schools, and separate graduation options through Lincoln and CTE. Students can remain in one district while changing academic framework, campus scale, or career emphasis.
