Cadillac Area Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Cadillac Area Public Schools centers on a conventional sequence of three elementary schools, Mackinaw Trail Middle School, and Cadillac High School. Two additional institutions extend that sequence at opposite ends of the age range: Viking Learning Center supports early childhood and family care, while Cadillac Innovation High School provides a smaller, more individualized high-school route.

Viking Learning Center is the early-years entry point. It houses Little Vikings preschool, a state-supported preschool option for eligible families, and before- and after-school care for children ages 3–11. Its purpose is early education and dependable childcare, helping families connect with the district before kindergarten and around the elementary school day.

Cadillac Innovation High School serves older students. The district describes it as a smaller high-school environment with an individualized approach, technical training, and day or virtual programming. It gives students another way to organize high-school study and work toward completion when the comprehensive setting or schedule is not the right fit.

Cadillac High School remains the principal comprehensive campus for academics, arts, athletics, career preparation, and student life. The district as a whole combines a stable K–12 sequence with early-childhood support for young families and a flexible diploma route for high-school students.
