About Allen Park Public Schools
Allen Park Public Schools is built around convergence. Arno, Bennie, and Lindemann elementary schools give younger children three neighborhood settings. All three communities then come together at Allen Park Middle School and remain together at Allen Park High School, allowing the middle and high schools to function as shared civic institutions for a compact Downriver community.
Two district-operated resources widen that common route. The Center for Early Childhood Education brings preschool and childcare into the public-school network before kindergarten. The Allen Park Center for the Arts serves students, families, and local artists across attendance areas as a hub for visual art, music, theatre, and dance.
Later flexibility is created mainly through each student’s program on the shared secondary campuses. Students in grades 6–12 may use online courses, and high-school planning can combine the regular curriculum with advanced, college-connected, or career-oriented study. Allen Park’s distinguishing structure is a single secondary community supported by early-childhood services, a districtwide arts center, and several ways to shape a schedule.
