Gull Lake Community Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Gull Lake Community Schools has a compact traditional sequence: Kellogg and Richland elementary schools feed Thomas M. Ryan Intermediate School, Gull Lake Middle School, and Gull Lake High School. Students from the local district come together early, and the single intermediate, middle, and comprehensive high-school campuses create a recognizable path through the later grades.

Gateway Academy provides a smaller alternative high-school environment for students who need a different structure to complete a diploma. Gull Lake Early College extends secondary education in another direction, allowing participants to combine high-school requirements with college study over an additional year. One route changes the learning environment; the other changes the timetable and postsecondary outcome.

Gull Lake Virtual Partnership broadens the district beyond its local attendance area. It can serve full-time virtual students, homeschool families using a part-time partnership, and students combining district and online enrollment. Because the partnership reaches families in Kalamazoo County and adjoining districts, Gull Lake functions as both a neighborhood school system and a regional provider.

The district works at two scales. The physical schools form a close local progression, while Gateway, Early College, and the Virtual Partnership create alternative completion, college-linked, and regional learning routes. Families must review the enrollment relationship for each branch, especially when a student is homeschooled, lives outside the core district, or combines more than one provider.
