Grand Haven Area Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Grand Haven Area Public Schools organizes its main school-age sequence through six K–4 elementary schools—Ferry, Griffin, Lake Hills, Peach Plains, Robinson, and Rosy Mound—followed by White Pines Intermediate School for grades 5–6, Lakeshore Middle School for grades 7–8, and Grand Haven High School. Duneside Discovery Center at Mary A. White serves early-learning programs and Young Fives, so it is separate from the current K–4 elementary count.

Central High School provides a smaller in-person alternative for students who need a different pace, structure, or level of personal support. Grand Haven Online Electives adds supplemental, project-based courses for elementary and middle-grade learners while students remain in their regular educational setting. Grand Haven CyberSchool is a full-time online program for grades 7–12, supported by local staff and individual planning.

North Ottawa County Early College adds an extended college-linked route. Participants may use an additional year to pursue substantial transferable credit, an associate degree, or another approved college outcome while completing high-school requirements.

A family can therefore remain in the standard campus sequence, move to a smaller in-person setting, add supplemental online electives, enroll full-time online in the later grades, or extend high school through Early College. Each option has its own enrollment and participation rules.
