Davison Community Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Davison Community Schools uses different structures for two very different transition problems. The first appears after elementary school. All fifth- and sixth-graders attend Hahn Intermediate School, where students keep a homeroom connection but also move to a team teacher for some subjects. Art, physical education, music, band, and orchestra broaden the day while the team-teaching model prepares students for the class changes of Davison Middle School and Davison High School.

The second transition concerns students whose progress toward graduation has been disrupted. Davison Alternative Education works with Davison High School to serve students at risk of not graduating with their class. Its trimester calendar and broader elective space can help students regain credits, and some may return to the comprehensive high school. The program functions as a route back toward completion, not simply a separate destination.

Davison High then provides the widest set of forward-looking choices. Career and technical tracks include business, health science, information technology, construction trades, automotive technology, engineering, and work-based learning, with college-credit opportunities built into every program. Davison Early College adds another extended option. The district’s structure is distinctive because Hahn teaches students how to enter secondary school, while alternative education can help older students re-enter a viable graduation path.
