Zeeland Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Zeeland Public Schools is organized around East and West community tracks. Neighborhood students move through Cityside or Creekside Middle School and then Zeeland East or Zeeland West High School; the two high schools share a campus area while maintaining separate identities.

Specialty learning is being aligned with those same tracks. Spanish Immersion begins at Lincoln on the East side and continues through Cityside. Zeeland Project-Based Learning is centered at Quincy on the West side and continues through project-based and real-world science experiences at Creekside. These are extended pathways embedded in the district’s ordinary geography, not stand-alone PreK–8 systems.

During the transition, families may still encounter ZQuest as a K–8 balanced-calendar program even as future project-based programming moves toward ZPBL. Current participants and new applicants may therefore follow different program guidance for a time.

High-school flexibility is also being consolidated. Venture remains a current alternative environment, while Venture and Michigan Virtual coursework are being brought into ZVirtual. Families can begin with the East or West community route, then use the current guidance for the relevant specialty or flexible-learning program.
