Walled Lake Consolidated Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Walled Lake Consolidated Schools serves a large geographic area through several neighborhood elementary routes, three middle schools, and three comprehensive high schools: Walled Lake Central, Northern, and Western. The three high-school communities provide the main attendance-based structure and retain distinct local identities within one district.

Students who need another way to finish high school may use counselor-directed virtual or alternative completion programs rather than transferring into a fourth attendance-area high school. These plans can combine online coursework, credit recovery, and individualized pacing while keeping the student's district relationship anchored in the broader high-school system.

The Adult Transition Program serves eligible young adults ages 18–26 with functional academics, vocational training, communication, daily-living instruction, and community-based experience. Its purpose is adult independence rather than a continuation of any comprehensive high school's ordinary diploma timetable.

Walled Lake's scale therefore produces three community high-school routes and several districtwide services that cut across them. Families need to separate home-school assignment, counselor-managed completion options, and postschool transition eligibility.
