L'Anse Creuse Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

L'Anse Creuse Public Schools serves several Macomb County communities through nine elementary schools, four middle schools, and two principal comprehensive high schools. Most students follow an attendance-area route to either L'Anse Creuse High School or L'Anse Creuse High School–North, preserving two large secondary communities within one district.

The Frederick V. Pankow Center expands that structure without acting as a third attendance-area high school. Students from the district's home high schools use Pankow for career and technical education, mathematics-science-technology study, and performing arts. The arrangement lets specialized laboratories, instructors, and performance spaces serve a wider student body while students retain their ordinary high-school identity.

The DiAnne M. Pellerin Center serves a different purpose. It provides a nontraditional route toward a L'Anse Creuse diploma, along with virtual, adult-education, and GED-related services. Its schedule and support model are intended for learners whose needs do not fit the standard comprehensive timetable.

The district is therefore best navigated by separating three roles: the assigned middle- and high-school route, the shared Pankow specialty center, and Pellerin's flexible completion services. A building may be part of a student's weekly education without replacing the home school that grants the diploma.
