Holland Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Holland Public Schools combines neighborhood schools with a language pathway that can shape a student’s experience across several grade bands. Holland Heights, Jefferson, and West provide community elementary settings, while Holland Language Academy offers a two-language environment beginning in the early grades. Students later come together at Holland Middle School and Holland High School.

The Language Academy is more than a short elementary enrichment program. Its Spanish dual-language model begins in transitional kindergarten or kindergarten, continues through grade 5, and connects to language coursework in middle school and maintenance opportunities at Holland High. Families entering the route are committing to a long sequence whose staffing, continuation, and admissions rules need to be considered across transitions.

Holland Early College creates two college-linked grades 11–13 pathways through partnerships with Davenport University and Hope College. Students use an additional year to complete high-school requirements while working toward extensive college credit or an associate-level outcome. Virtual Tech serves students who need full-time online study, credit recovery, and an individualized graduation plan.

Beyond the common middle and high school, Holland offers three different forms of continuity: Spanish across grade bands, a fifth year connecting high school with college, and a full-time online completion environment. Admissions and continuation rules must be checked separately for each.
