Crestwood School District Calendar 2026-2027

Crestwood School District uses very few school changes to carry students from kindergarten to graduation. Three K–4 elementary schools feed Riverside Middle School, which keeps students together from grades 5–8, and Riverside then feeds Crestwood High School. The four-year middle-school span is the key structural feature: students make one major transition after fourth grade and remain on the same campus throughout early adolescence.

Crestwood High expands the otherwise compact system through two kinds of opportunity. Some choices are housed within the high school, including Advanced Placement and career-technical study. Others connect students to outside providers through dual enrollment, middle-college arrangements, and regional technical partnerships. A student can therefore spend part of a high-school plan in college or career training without changing district membership or abandoning the comprehensive high school.

The district is small in building count but not limited to what fits inside those buildings. Riverside supplies long secondary continuity, while Crestwood High remains the student’s home base as college and technical partnerships extend learning beyond campus. One stabilizes the middle years; the other opens access to a wider Dearborn-area education network.
